I spoke with Kathy last night and they are now starting a 15 day round of radiation for Dave. Hopefully this will help. The medical staff is really trying to get him on his feet so that he can start rehab.
We have sent out letters to everyone that we know who would like to help out and the response has been wonderful so far. There has been some interest in a Fund Raising Event, which would probably be necessary down the road. We are overwhelmed with the show of concern for Dave. He truly has the nicest friends and family there is. To all of you who are thinking about him, and sending him good thoughts, we thank you from the bottom of our souls. It is helping him to know that there is a network of love and support out there.
In Dave's business, he 'measured twice and cut once', as the saying goes. I don't think that he ever measured his wealth in friends and family. It is amazing.
